day 23: force of fixation

by rob on August 7, 2010

Today Roger Pascal will talk about his experience with Day 23of his 90-Day Mind Adventure. I am guiding Roger through everyday of the ’180′ Self-Powerment Program. My response is below. – rob

Roger:

I can see how the mighty ‘Force of Fixation” has gripped me. I used to chain smoke. I still have a smoking habit. I used to have a drinking problem. I now have that under control, but the ‘Force of Fixation’ still tugs at me. I swear too much.

You cannot just quit a habit; you must replace it with something new

My ability to change my mind enabled me to stop drinking. It enabled me to cut back on my smoking. Now it is time to change my mind about swearing so much.

I am taking more responsibility for my thoughts and I am repeating the thoughts that I want to make thought-habits. I write them on cards and read them many times each day. I expect the ‘Force of Fixation’ will kick into action soon, and convert the thoughts into thought-habits. My favorite thought that I want to become a thought-habit is this” ‘If it is to be it is up to me’.

rob

I like how you are aligning yourself with the mighty Force of Fixation. Roger. I love how much conscious deliberation you are giving to your life. Consciousness is a powerful source of new creation.

The more you awaken your awareness to the ‘old ways’ that are not working for you – the easier it is to get the Force of Fixation to align with your new aspirations and aims.

I can see some wonderful changes right around the corner, Roger. Persist … for indeed, if it is to be, it is up to thee!

Today Roger Pascal will talk about his experience with Day 22 of his 90-Day Mind Adventure. I am guiding Roger through everyday of the ’180′ Self-Powerment Program. My response is below. – rob

Roger:

I have several habits that have the power to waste my day. I have broken many more new year’s resolutions than those I’ve kept. I often create a self-image that makes me feel inferior.

Now that I can see how the ‘psychological law of reverse effects’ work – it is time for me to ask myself – “why am I doing this to me?” This question helps me to “seek first the kingdom of heavenly riches.” I like the way this is written on this day.

The results are disappointing when we attempt to succeed at something with an attitude of disbelief

This specific day speaks to me specifically. Maybe I am just ready to hear it but it is a great help. I am looking at the ‘bad news’ that I have caused with this law of ‘reverse effects’ in order to change things. That turns it into good news that empowers me.

Thank you for the side-coaching (on the phone) with this day, rob.

rob:

You are a powerful individual to work with, Roger. You not only want to hear the truth, but you are now ‘receptive’ to applying it to your own life.

There is no stopping you, Roger. You’ve decided that it is time to have breakthroughs; breakthroughs that will elevate your life to new riches. This is fun for me to follow you.

Move forward, Roger, with an attitude of belief (believing in yourself). These new breakthroughs, into a new aliveness, will become commonplace.
