Mind Adventure Inc has finalized the purchase of its new home and is opening a Learning Center. The purpose is to allow like kind minds to mingle.
Student: What’s the outcome of mingling minds?
Teacher: When two or more minds align with an aim in sight, a Third Mind is created. This third mind contains a powerful dynamic that all of the aligned minds can tap into.
Imagine mingling your mind with other like-kind minds and arousing a common interest to accomplish a singular outcome. When the minds align in the name of the agreed upon outcome, disquieting confusion and doubt quickly dissipates. Each mind is able to plug into the created third mind, and think beyond the usual.
Most ‘genius ideas’ come from the mingling of several minds. Was the Declaration of Independence written by one person? Did Wilbur Wright invent the heavier-than-air flying machine by himself, or did he mingle his mind with his brother, Orville? What about the Marx Brothers – was their comic genius found in only one of them?
‘Genius ideas’ come first as a sensing, as when you feel the rightness of your intuition. Then, by actually talking about the idea with those who mingle their minds with you – you proceed from one illuminating thought to the next. At that point, it is possible to turn the idea over to the created mind – the Third Mind. Then the rewards will come.
The mission of The Mind Adventure Learning Center is to help folks come to the Ultimate Understanding:
Human beings are rich and majestic children of Infinite Intelligence. We are marvelously made, and destined to win at whatever we set our minds to. We are also worthy all that is good and beautiful.
Imagine mingling your mind with other minds with the intention of gaining this Ultimate Understanding. Perhaps it’s a group of real estate brokers who want to gain this Ultimate Understanding so they can generate more sales. Perhaps it’s a group of mothers who want to gain this Ultimate Understanding so they can pass the message on to their children. Perhaps it’s a group of struggling individuals, in all walks of life, who want to gain this Ultimate Understanding so they can turn their lives around.
Seeking to gain the Ultimate Understanding is seeking to gain that which is most valuable to any human being on the planet. It supplies incredible inner strength in all walks of life.
Imagine mingling your mind with other minds, and making it your chief aim to see and be someone who feels marvelously made and destined to win at whatever you set your mind to. Read that sentence again, please. Take a minute to reflect on it. Obedience to truth is one’s first obligation; that is if he wants to ‘win at winning’. The other option is to win at losing. You will win at whatever you set your mind to – winning or losing. How have you been doing with that?
So, that is what Mind Adventure Inc is up to right now. The sale of our new home is complete and is being converted into a Learning Center as we speak. No one is obligated to think like a victim, just because millions of people do.
The Learning Center will help folks bring a new kind of happiness into their lives, a happiness that they never before believed was possible. And Guess what! The Learning Center is located right in the center of the vibrant city of Boston, Massachusetts. It is right across from the famous Jamaica Pond, and it has plenty of free parking. How great is that!
Are you ready to mingle your mind with other minds in the name of gaining this Ultimate Understanding? Are you ready to fly easily over the walls that block you from solving life’s problems? Are you willing to turn your problems over to a Third Mind, created by the mingling of minds? I am totally excited for you and each of the other adventure takers that will embark on this great opportunity. This is totally exciting! While my ego mind is telling me there’s not much reason for me to get my hopes up about attending living in Atlanta and it being in Boston, I am totally blocking that joker(my ego) out completely! I know that “my released light” (loved the choice of words, btw
) will guide me to the learning center eventually. And for that reason, I am super stocked about this project!
I have only within the last six months had the opportunity to mingle minds with another like minded individual, the same individual who introduced me to you actually, Mr. Jk Allen. This young man has been an exceptional part of my life and we have allowed one another to sharpen the other.
Before him there weren’t much mingling of any minds, because I had literally surrounded myself with people who had no vision or passion for anything, let alone themselves or their goals. You know what they say, “birds of a feather flock together”. I was totally flocking with the wrong people, obviously. I have since over the last 2 years cleared the flock out of my inner circle; and while it can be quite lonely at times, I have gotten more done over the last year than I’ve ever gotten done in my entire life. The exciting part about that is, I’m just getting started! Can you imagine the possibilities that stand before me? I can. And I’m ready to take charge of each of them!
You nailed my aim in life when you said, “…to see and be someone who feels marvelously made and destined to win at whatever you set your mind to.” Right now, I am all about controlling my mind and thoughts to get the results I desire to achieve through the goals I’ve set for myself. There are so many young men and women out there who are just like me, and going through the same things I’ve been going through; thinking to themselves daily that there’s no use or need of trying to make “it” happen. I want to be available to them and to share with them how I made it out of my own miry way of thinking.
It’s very liberating to know that you’ve been marvelously made and fully equipped to achieve whatever it is you want out of life. And once an individual decides what they want, and lay down those limiting thoughts about themselves and the world around them; nothing stands in their way… they simply won’t allow it. You are a ideal example of just that!
I’m simply in love with this idea you’ve bought into fruition, and I know it will be a great success! It’s housed in a beautiful building as well! Thanks for sharing the image with us. I would be honored to be apart of this adventure, Rob! I feel that the Universe is lining things, people, and places for me to do just what you’ve shared here. I’ve been staying totally open to what the Universe is sending my way. Before, I would’ve totally downplayed my own efforts and abilities by saying “I can’t” or “I’m not sure if..” or whatever else my ego could muster up, but today is totally different; and each day reveals something else new to me. It’s for this reason, that I believe without any doubt in my mind, that what you’ve shared with me, will DEFINITELY happen!
You know Rob, I’m finally at the place in my life that I am able to own the power that’s within me. A power that I know is not totally of my own doing, but that which the Universe has put in me and continues to fuel. That to me is fascinating! I like the idea of the Third Mind synthesizing all the ideas of the minds that it consists of to think beyond the usual. It reminds me of a passage from the I-Ching on knowledge.
“Knowledge should be a refreshing and vitalizing force. It becomes so only through stimulating intercourse with congenial friends with whom one holds discussion and practices application of the truths of life. In this way learning becomes many-sided and takes on a cheerful lightness, whereas there is always something ponderous and one-sided about the learning of the self-taught.”
Indeed it is from the mingling of several minds that brilliant flashes of insights or genius ideas spring forth.
I think the Mind Adventure Learning Center will be a great success. It has a noble mission and in time I am sure it will attract many brilliant minds leading to many brilliant ideas that will advance the interests of the human race. Who knows how it will change the world. We might be on the threshold of something big here.
An obstacle that may get the best of 1 mind is certainly no match for 3 or 4 from different walks of life. Who knows what kind of creative solutions will arise at the Learning Center?
I personally try to listen to the advice of others when I am faced with a problem. There are only so many ideas that I can think of. By listening to others, I may gain a new perspective or insights that I would have missed on my own. From there, I can apply these ideas to resolve the problems I face.

I love the idea of real meetings of the minds. In just a quick series of back-and-forth emails with a business partner at this end yesterday, we both discovered a whole new ecosystem which could (scratch that) WILL rise up out of this current adventure.

The blues. Such wonderful music. I love being out in the garage on a Sunday evening, tinkering on the car with a cold beer and them lowdown, dirty blues playing in the background. Aside from Flamenco, it’s hard to find another style of music with so much passion in every single note.
I would definitely like to check this out in person one day. 2012 is pretty much booked solid at this point, but I will be following this story closely. Perhaps in 2013, Rob.

Hey Rob, this is great. I’m unemployed but this is the type of thing I can’t afford NOT to DO. In this economy I’m sure there are a ton of people who just struggle to keep their mood up and keep pounding the pavement for a new job. It’s so easy to get stifled and hide away. If I can mingle my mind with some other positive minds I think I keep my positivity up all week, week in and week out. It’s the ups and downs that are so hard to deal with when facing the reality of this economy all alone. Sign me up – I’ll be cashing those unemployment checks for you! Lord knows the best investment I’ve made over the last year was your book!

In my own experience, I think starting a business is a perfect example of the power of mingling minds. We think we can do things all by ourselves but it’s just not the same. I wish I had sought out advice early in the process. Sometimes pride makes us blind to reality. Once I got some consulting and a sympathetic ear to bounce ideas off of all the answers I had been struggling with came through as clear as a bell. What’s interesting is that there was not any one single piece of advice I got that turns things around, it was the process of talking it out. You realize you have the answers you need inside. Maybe that’s the third mind that wakes up and says “hey, I’ve been hear all along, why didn’t you wake me up sooner!”

It wasn’t until your Master Mind Group Webinar back in 2010 that I “got” the idea of a Master Mind Alliance. That was a powerful experience that I still think about daily. I made some serious personal development Milestones during those webinars and I’m looking forward to more of that kind of activity.

You are a true inspiration, Rob. No rest for the truly obsessed! Just seeing you open up this center is kick in the pants enough for me. As you know, I’m taking on some big changes in retirement, in fact; now I even hate to use the word “retirement.” I’ve really learned that that we never stop learning. This is the kind of Learning Center that people like me can come to get taken seriously. Most people think the changes in me are the result of bored old baby boomer. The truth is they are profound, real changes and I’ve got a ton of living to do and some new enterprises to take on. When I was starting my firm it was easy to get involved with other young ambitious lawyers. I want to get that same momentum and energy going again. This is a fabulous thing Rob. I’ve noticed that it is simply not enough to think I can do it all from the safety of my laptop. I’ve convinced myself that I was getting things done just reading blogs and connecting with people through email but it just isn’t enough. Things really start to happen when we interact with real people. There is just some kind of energy that gets created. That third mind never shows up when I just stay on the internet for too long. For instance, I love my yoga class because of all the unexpected connections I make. People in my class have organized outings and I’ve developed some new supportive friends. But I think I still struggle with money because I am afraid to talk about it with real people. The internet makes it way too easy to pretend. I think just seeing people face to face who have money issues will be really really huge for me. Looking forward to meeting some like-minds (even though I’m scared!

Hey there Robert. Well done. This has a ton of potential, I am very interested in watching it evolve and in participating any way I can. I really love the idea of mingling minds. We simply cannot get the most out of our ideas if we are working in a vacuum. I really don’t believe anybody does it all alone. Even an artist toiling away in his studio needs the insights and perspectives of his peers to learn to see his own work. I think there is a myth to the idea of the genius who just comes up with things out of thin air. It takes other minds to really polish and strip away what is not necessary. I see this time and time again in my own life in many different ways. Getting feedback on my short stories is so essential in evolving them to the next level. I am able to begin thinking of angles I never would have considered… and it always happens when I think the story is perfect… all of a sudden I am enlightened to how far I have to go yet! Funny the way that works. Maybe you can have some writing workshops for people too?

Aw man. This is incredible. I saw that house up for sale a while back… I had no idea you snatched it up. It’s gem for sure. I’ve always wondered about those homes around the pond. I think I’ll bring the band in for some mingling mind sessions, we definitely need to get ALL our minds focused on the same thing. It really is something I’ve struggled with. I know I’m committed and driven, but sometimes life gets in the way for the other guys. We can’t afford to mess around anymore. I think what makes any band breakthrough is a collective focus on greatness. Unless you are a solo act, you just can’t expect to make it unless everyone is equally serious and focused. This is really really great rob. I think this is going to big for the whole community. As far as I’m concerned they should start introducing this type of conversation in High School or even offer courses in college. I know it would have helped me out a ton if I had learned more about my own mind waaayyy early on. I would have avoided a ton of pain. In college I put the drive for money first and foremost. Had I been exposed to new ways of thinking I would have seen I was driven to obtain goals that really didn’t mean that much to me. I just didn’t think I had any other option!
