Unraveling the Mystery of the Master Mind Alliance

September 22nd, 2010 by rob white

Four important things have been known about the mind for thousands of years:

• All minds mingle
• All minds are in continual motion
• Organized minds that mingle create Master Mind Alliances
• Master Mind Alliances give a thousand fold power to the creative ability of the mind.

Here is some more stuff that it is important to know about your mind (assuming you want to control it and not have it control you). The unorganized mind is restless – it becomes the agent of nervousness. A nervous mind which is the ideal mental environment for the devil (thus it is called the devil’s workshop).

Lest you think that the devil is some separate entity with a pitchfork and tail, I would like to explain what evil is for me:

To live forwardly is to live upward toward unity, harmony and prosperity.

To live backwardly is to live downwardly toward separation, disharmony and scarcity.

The word ‘live’ spelled backward = ‘evil’. The devil is simply the practice of evil thinking (backward living).

Okay, now that we are clear on that, let’s look at the two levels of the mind.

The subconscious level of your mind is where your emotions dwell. This level of mind only thinks in pictures. There is no cessation of images in the subconscious… even in sleep… that’s why you dream.

The conscious level of your mind is your handle over the mind – it is where you are able to take command of the mind.

Mind itself is a universal force of energy. Your mind is part of One Universal Mind. YES, there is but one mind, not many. Your mind may feel separate from Universal Mind (which some refer to as God Mind), but it is never separate.

All mind’s mingle. Your mind is mingling with Albert Einstein’s mind right now. Your mind is mingling with a kabillion other minds right now also. Wow – the power you have available!! What are you doing with that potential?

The best way to access that power of mingling minds is to join with others with one chief aim in mind. This quickly wipes out any ‘Nervous Nelly’ meandering that the mind may be participating in.

You cannot stop the ceaseless pictures being continually played in the subconscious level of your mind, but you can decide what reel of pictures you want being played. You cannot stop the ceaseless chatter going on in the surface mind, but you can direct your inward self-talk so it points to the ideals that you want to make real in your life.

How do you take control of your visual imaginings and self-talk? You join with other mingling minds. You create a Master Mind Alliance with a definite aim in mind. You direct the mighty force of Universal mind to cooperate with you in bringing this definite aim to manifestation. In such moments, your unrealized potential prospers and your hidden talents reveal themselves.

When two or more minds join in the name of a definite aim, these minds form a Master Mind Alliance that calls upon the formidable power of Universal Mind.

A few blog friends and I are planning a series of weekly M.M.A. (Master Mind Alliance) sessions. Join us. Learn the proper method of conducting effective M.M.A’s. These sessions will be conducted via Webinar. I will be announcing the dates and specifics soon.

The kingdom of heaven is yours when you learn to mingle your mind with other minds that have aspirations similar to yours. The ‘kingdom of heaven’ is simply a metaphor for properly governing your consciousness, which you do when you take the time to take command of your mind. Your ideals are waiting to make themselves real in your experience – but they cannot do this without your mind’s cooperation.

Please offer some comments on your ‘take of the mind’
• How has your mind served you?
• When has it has betrayed you?
• What tip do you want to share – some training technique that you have used with the mind?

Please contact us if you are interested in participating in a Master Mind Alliance, and asking questions. You will even gain the foundation to start your own M.M.A. This Personal Development Webinar promises to be empowering and enlightening.

Blessings, rob

  1. I really enjoyed this Rob!
Lately, I have fallen in love with my life as it is and this change has occurred as a direct result in changing my thinking.
In the past, my mind, (thinking) has lead me down dark roads of despair.
What has worked for me, is understanding that I am responsible for my thoughts and being responsible means that I can change what is not working for me. The result is a much better life!

    • rob says:

YES, Jenny … holding yourself responsible for your thoughts is a big one! Think of a few things in your life that are unnecessary – maybe you don’t need that old umbrella hanging in the closet or those old shoes? Well, what thoughts do you hold in your collection of beliefs that you do NOT need? yes, we empower ourselves when we rid ourselves of unnecessary thought-habits. blessings

  2. Simon Hay says:

Mind to mind and a soul to soul connection is how I heal. The field of consciousness is the collective mind and everything else. It’s a creating force. When like-minded people gather together ideas flow from individuals but are created or sourced from the field. Lazy thinking prevents healing. The responses on the healing table are sabotaged by lazy thinking. Apathy is the number one cause of illness and unhappiness.

    • rob says:

Indeed, Simon, apathy is a cause of misery. How strange that so many folks assume outer conditions cause inner misery. When you see what apathy can do to you, it can no longer deceive you into believing it is harmless. blessings

      • Rus says:

That’s an interesting perspective Simon. I love the way you put that. I know when I get apathetic I get sick and tired. Got to pay attention to my mind

  3. Rob,

Congratulations on your Roar Booking releasing! all 4 ebooks sounds intriguing and powerful read.

I am looking forward MMA sessions, if I can help let me know.

Last few years I am working on my mind and my heart to balance out and agree with each other, most time it is working! Mind is fascinating thing to learn. When they studied Einstein’s mind, they could not find anything different than average human yet he achieved many average human do not. It has been people are using less than 5% of brain capacity!

    • rob says:

Indeed, Preeti, the average human being is unconscious more than conscious (lives in a form of psychic hypnosis where they ‘knee-jerk react’ through most of their lives). A mind is truly a terrible thing to waste. You are a helpful soul. blessings

  4. Lance says:

    Rob,
Very excited for you…and I’m really looking forward to these MMA sessions!

My mind…it’s been a great resource for me…and truly helps me in making decisions and moving forward in life. And then there are moments where my mind takes too much control…and that which touches a deeper part of me…it get’s put off because my mind convinces me it’s too dangerous (i.e. fear). That’s the part that takes conscious effort to move beyond…

    • rob says:

Yes, Lance, the mind can be a tricky thing. I like how you pointed that out. The mind can flood us with encouraging emotions or harmful emotions – that is where we want to take control of the floodgates. Thank you.

  5. Hi Rob,
I wholly agree with the concept of their being one mind. We are all under the illusion that we’re separate, but we are truly one on an energetic level. I believe Universal Mind is where our “genious” ideas, and intuition spring from. They don’t come from the 7 lbs of gray matter in our heads! I’m so looking forward to the MMA webinar!

    • rob says:

The gray matter in our head is certainly not our power-base (as you pointed out, Angela). Indeed, our intuition comes from Universal Mind (the One Mind in which all minds mingle). Awareness is spiritual power. You are a spiritual being having a human experience – Angela. blessings.

  6. Hey Rob.

Wow, I absolutely loved this posted, I definitely learned a thing or two..

And mind without a gameplan is a mind given to the devil. Got it.

I’m digging the idea of M.M.A. How can someone join?

    • How has your mind served you?Im sort of unclear on this.. but my mind has served me by retaining information that has helped me along the way to achieve my endeavors..

    • When has it has betrayed you?
Well, the self doubts. It can also be my biggest enemy..

    • What tip do you want to share – some training technique that you have used with the mind?

Music. I love the power of music, how it can quickly change the way I feel thus changing my mindset, and information going through my mind.

    Hope you’re doing well Rob!

    • Carol Anne says:

      Hi Rob,
I’ll be there of course. Looking forward to these sessions.
Like Parker said, Self doubt can be a big block. I think we all experience that. Erasing self doubt is the single biggest thing I can do to achieve my goals.

    • rob says:

Nice, Parker Lee … I love your specific answers to my specific inquiry. I especially love your ‘music tip’. Every person who continually trips on cracks in the sidewalk has experienced the painful pattern that comes with being caught in psychic sleep. You are not one of those folks, Parker Lee. blessings

  7. Jk Hustle says:

Rob: Nice to see I made runner up – thank you!

Ok, now this was one deep article. So deep, in fact, that after reading it twice, I felt the need to read it 2 more times. I’m slow like that sometimes…the concept was new to me. I love learning new stuff and this was a foreign subject matter, waaay outside of my normal radar, so I loved the mental “mind” indulgence that it offered.

My mind has served me as a constant contradiction, while at the same time acting as a reconciliatorior (if you will) of the very same contradictions. What a battle. This one is kind of hard to describe in a commenting format, because I want to keep the length to a minimum…but basically my first nature; our first nature as humans, is that of imperfection. By nature I believe we are selfish (which could be elaborated in much more detail), it’s always a constant battle between doing what is right and doing what we want – regardless of if it’s right or wrong. At some point, for some (not all), I think the negative pull weakens making the contractions less potent. My mind has served me well in having a sense of self awareness and objectivity. Also, the pure sense of having insight to the fact that I must constantly push myself to overcome the negative pulls that naturally formulate in my mind.

My mind has betrayed me many times. There are times when I think I’m making the right decision; I think I know all of the facts, I’ve reviewed all of the consequences, but in reality, my mind over-analyzed things, creating a skewed image. So, end up basing my decision off of a skewed image. Over-analyzing is difficult to overcome, but self-awareness helps minimize the negative consequences to a certain degree. As far as I’m concerned, however, I’ll be dealing with this for a loooong time. It’s just how I’m wired – FOR NOW!

One thing I’ve practiced over the years is to think positive with my initial reaction to things. If I’m confronted with an obstacle, I see it is an opportunity to advance the obstacle. When I’m declined of something, I see it as an opportunity to gain it. I always try to initiate a situation with a positive take – no matter the situation. This has made me a positive person overall; while still faaar from perfect – which I’ll always be.

I really enjoyed this one Rob – thanks for the mental challenge.

    Peace.

    • rob says:

YES, Jk, when we teach the mind to over-analyze, it will do that for the rest of our lives (unless we go back in and retrain it to think differently). IF IT IS TO BE – JK – IT IS UP TO THEE! Great post. you put your heart into it. Everything that happens to you on the exterior is telling you about what is happening on the interior. Blessings.

  8. Kara says:

Wow JK. That is deep :) When my mind and thinking go haywire I practice meditation and just think about my breathing. This calms the frantic thinking that can attack me.

    • Jk Hustle says:

Hey Kara, Even through all the mumbo jumbo up there…I somehow figure out a way to keep a laser focus (most of the time!). I’m certainly open to meditation and think this would do me great justice. I’ll take a look in that. Thanks.

  9. Dia says:

    Hi Rob,

This is a very powerful article Rob, I’m saving it to my favorites. The mind is powerful and can achieve what many people think is impossible. We have to keep working on learning how to control our minds, so we can achieve what we want. Thanks for sharing

    • rob says:

Yes, control of mind is everything, Dia. You can unlearn habit of tension with control of mind. The first thing to teach the mind to do is to … RELAX. blessings

  10. Roger Pascal says:

Oh, I’m definitely joining in. That’s exactly what I need. It’s hard to be out there on your own with just my own thoughts. I would love to hear other peoples perspective in the Master Mind. I know my mind betrays me when I start making stupid mistakes because I’m not paying attention. Now I can be more disciplined with my thinking.

  11. Interesting topic. I think what has been a great realization for me is how powerful the mind is, but once you learn how to manage it, you can really control how you experience all situations and challenges. I think it is something you get better and better at as time continues and considering the fact that we have about 60,000 thoughts a day, it can take some time to learn how to control it. Your upcoming webinar sounds like a great idea and I will definitely be participating. Looking forward to it.

    • rob says:

Our deeper yearning to return home is always to mingle directly with Universal Mind, Sibyl, where infinite intelligence exists. This is God. This is the kingdom of heaven. When dwelling in this mind we feel ultimately secure (without the 60,000 thoughts haunting us like bats in a dark cave). blessings.

  12. SaltySailorMan says:

There is nothing better than to have a core group of like minded people. When I was young we were a bunch of hippies who got together and really made some powerful statements. It was a real experience of a group of minds gathered together with a common cause. The 60′s had a lot of that kind of thinking going on. Being part of a group of revolutionary thinkers was one of the most thrilling times in my life.

  13. You have so much going on this fall, Rob. Congratulations!

As for the mind, it’s anything but static, isn’t it? My mind has served me well. I’ve had to shake things up in there but it’s malleable, more so than we are sometimes led to believe.

    • rob says:

YES, Belinda, the mind is malleabe if we train it to be. The mind is rigid if that is what we expose it to. ‘If it is to be it is up to thee’! Indeed, I have a lot going on right now. I had a lot going on in my past when I Opened east coast and west coast development companies and when I opened 3 of Boston’s top rated restaurants. What makes me ssssssssspecial – I am a human being designing my personal destiny … JUST LIKE YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE. We are supreme beings, Belinda, We lose sight of that. blessings

  14. Here is all i got to say about a mastermind group. Apply the principle and make a difference outside your community. Make a nationwide focus and go harder than the rest. For only the strongest survive during the cold winter months of betrayal, deception and deceit.

    • rob says:

Hmmm, Jonathan …the person who floats with the current, who has no convictions and does not join other minds to carry out his(her) convictions – is a slave of his surroundings. blessings, rob

  15. Aileen says:

thinking about the power of the mind always intrigues me. I love how simply you stated the difference between the conscious and subconscious and how they work together, “The conscious level of your mind is your handle over the mind – it is where you are able to take command of the mind.” In any given day I’ll experience both an organized mind and an unorganized mind. I hope to one day have an strong enough mental discipline to live with an organized mind at all times. It’s a far greater feeling of empowerment and it makes real the realm of possibilities.
… little by little getting closer to living in that optimum mental state.

The way you described an unorganized mind as “restless” and an “agent of nervousness” resonated with me, because that is exactly what it feels like when mind is not harnessed and then all types of fears, obstacles and mental junk appear.

    • rob says:

Nice, Aileen, you put yourself in your comment. An organized mind is a WHOLE MIND. With a whole mind (not one level of thinking divided against the other level), we attain freedom from all doubts and fears. blessings

  16. Don says:

Sometimes when I’m stuck I pretend I’m talking to George Washington. He is one of my heroes. I know it sounds sill but I think it gets me to think differently about my problem. I think that is a mingling mind.

  17. John Sherry says:

They do say that great minds think alike Rob so bad or negative ones must do too. Always worth checking out what people or groups have a like-minded ethic as your own – might be a clue to where your head is going. Best to make the mind a creative force rather than anything approaching a destructive one. To get a head start in life or with a new life it’s good to see where your head starts itself thought wise.

  18. rob says:

Remind yourself daily, John, of the delight of living in this malleable universe where we get to participate in the creation process (for good or for evil). yes, Hitler (and the likes) had their mingling minds, John, as well as the likes of Jesus and he mingling minds that participated with his minds (his disciples). Nothing more than emotional agitation cause one to create one’s reality in a downward direction, and we can reverse that. That you for your reminder.

  19. John says:

When my band is clicking I think that is like a Mastermind Alliance. We are all on the same page moving as one. It is really the whole reason I stick with the musician life. There is no greater feeling I know of. I wish everybody could see what it feels like to be part of a band. I think it would change their life and their point of view about a lot of things.

  20. GeorgieBoy 1969 says:

Having a successful restaurant is like Mastermind. Everyone has to have the same vision of a successful outcome. When people aren’t aligned and specific all hell breaks loose. That’s part of the thrill and challenge that I like about the industry

  21. rob says:

YES, GoergieBoy, a successful business of any kind is a successful alliance of minds (from the top down). Even writing the Declaration of Independence required an alliance of minds (all looking at the same aim). Thanks for noticing how this applies to pragmatic life.
