You cannot passionately imagine trying something new without taking action on it. Don’t fool yourself. I used to think if I vividly imagined myself succeeding at something new (like playing the trumpet in the symphony orchestra), this would be enough. I did not increase my trumpet practicing time; I simply assumed ‘the passion’ owed me a favor.
What I always am BE-ing is what I am always passionate about. When I was secretly passionate about ‘wishing and hoping’ (thinking the energy of wishing was enough to make my dreams come true), I continued to do what I always did… and inevitably always got what I always got. The wishes did not come true.
We can never comprehend how the four interactive forces of creations work – gravity, electromagnetism, strong nuclear interaction, weak nuclear interaction – but we can tap into them so they go to work for us. What does it take? It takes the energy current of passionate desire backed with action.
‘I AM’… is all there is to you. Be passionate about the ‘I AM’ that you choose to be. You are being passionate about the ‘I AM’ that you currently are… or you would not wake up to it every morning!
‘I AM’ is your direct choice. No one can decide the ‘I AM’ that you are. Take this seriously. I had to totally recreate a brand new version of my unique infinity in order to live in a bright new world of possibility.
A willingness to learn from this blog will help you develop a talent for celestial inspiration (that will guide you to the right and perfect ‘I AM’ for you). Don’t listen to the world’s advice, it will inevitably lead you astray.
- What qualities of character would you like to exude with your personality?
- What talents would you like to hone?
- What project would you like to begin, if you were the ‘I AM’ that you desire to be?
If you can imagine these qualities and talents … and if you can envision a new world to live in – then they are available to you. YOU CANNOT IMAGINE BEYOND YOUR CAPACITY TO CREATE!!!
Don’t be shy… share your truth so that you and others (who read your comment) might grow.
PS… I never became more than a mediocre trumpet player because I relied on ‘wishing and hoping’… and it disappointed me. Growth occurs when we no longer support ideas that hamper it.

This is a fantastic post and really gives me encouragement to move forward. I started my blog almost 3 months ago as an encouragement to women with the hopes of monetizing one day with coaching services and informational products. I AM passionate about helping others find their path in life. When I started my blog, it was so I could learn about the business and the techniques of blogging. Now I need to just kick it up another notch and move forward!
Thanks for the ‘kick’!
Bernice

Hi Ramblings, thank you for your input. Do you know why you are passionate about helping woman find their path? (do you know why anyone is passionate about helping other?) Because that person is passionate about finding his or her own path (passionate about helping himself or herself). What we want for others we want for ourselves. It works beautifully. This is not discouraging news, it is encouraging news. We are all one, aren’t we. blessings
Once again, a very inspiring post. Sometimes it takes cultivating the “I AM” before taking action, but without action the “I AM” can be nothing more than imagination. This is a very important point that you clarified. I AM passionate about teaching others things that inspire me and give me purpose. I want others to believe in their potential and know that life can be more than meets the eye. Thanks Rob!
Hi Joe. Thank you for your insightful comment. When you want others to realize their potential and understand that their is more to them than meets the human eye – you also want that for yourself. What you help others to see about themselves, you help ‘you’ to see about you. That is how it works. It’s a great system that nature hands us – it is good for all concerned! blessings.

Hi Rob,
Very inspiring post! We all can achieve everything we imagine if we take action. If we really can see it, then we can achieve it. While action is required, visualization is important as well, so we can see in our minds what we want to accomplish. Thanks for sharing Rob
thanks Dia, for your clarity. What we see in our mind’s eye is important, but what we feel in our mind’s heart is what gets the job done (there is where the passion lies). blessings.
Good one, Rob. I am passionate about my business and my family. Always family first for me. I love waking up to that. I want to improve as a business woman though. I think I can expand my operation and move into a bigger office. I have to hone myself to be the best in my field.
You are always honing yourself, Carol. You are a spiritual being having a human experience, always honing your behavior to acess more of your unrealized potential – nice job.
Rob,
Deeply good stuff to let really sink in. It’s easy to do the imagining and dreaming part. It’s the “putting it into action”…that is the challenge (well…it is for me…).
So, if I knew I could not fail (hmm…a part of a very striking quote…) I would do something (and hmmm…maybe I haven’t even fully defined my dreams) that combined fun and inspiration.
Okay – it’s time to dig a little deeper into this dream…and then start acting upon it…
thanks rob!!
The only purpose for setting any goal, Lance, is so that we may create a grander version of ourselves in order to accomplish it. We get the biggest kick out of that. Wanting to earn a million dollars, wanting to build a house, wanting to raise a family – “who must we be to do this successfully”? That is the big kick we get out of it. We’re never done. thank you
Passion is everything for me. Usually I get passionate about something and have no idea HOW to do it, but my passion is enough to get it done. Like when I was learning to play drums I became obsessed and took action. I was practicing everyday and having fun. It was all I could think or talk about. I can’t figure out why I lost that passion though. It was like a huge burst for 3 months and then it fizzled. Now I only do it sometimes.
You ooze passion, Rus. You also have a false self (other than your permanent self) that argues with you. That is the challenge.
Hi Rob,
No one every won the lottery by wishing – you actually have to go out and buy the ticket! Taking personal responsibility for every decision in your life is very important as wishing that things will be different gets you no where. When you decide that your life is your own, you will do what’s necessary.
I particularly like your example of reinventing yourself periodically. Maybe you are not happy with the “I AM” you are today, but means that you have an opportunity for you to take action so that you are happy with the “I AM” of you tomorrow.
YES, Karen, we must understand that all of our goals are only to create a grander version of ourselves(in order to achieve the goal). With victory (achievement of the goal)comes emptiness – IT IS TIME TO SET A NEW GOAL THAT REQUIRES A NEW ‘I AM’!!! Thank you.
Being passionate – I love it! It’s kind of a Scorpio trait I was born with – I do things with intensity! It’s always worked for me…so I’m going to keep on being passionate. Thanks Rob!!!
Thank you for telling me that passion is a ‘scorpio’ trait. Maybe it is a human trait? BEing passionate require strusting that when you say ‘it shall be done’… indeed, you shall do whatever it it takes to do it. Such beauty! blessings
Qualities of Character …Joy tops that list. Honesty, integrity, kindness, determination, fairness…I think they show up as people become more aquainted. Joy however sits right out front…and invites all the good the universe has to offer. The talents I would like to hone are clear communication, speaking and listening, and self-control. What project would I begin?? I would finish some I’ve already started and stay open to the adventure.
Thanks for this place to relax with an edifing thought.
That is a beauty, sylvia. Your qualities of character make it indeed a beautiful world (if all of us choose them with a priority for joy). You are a gift to the world, sylvia. aren’t you? blessings.
Rob,
Being passionate and not taking an action is something many people do, as they do not know how to begin the overwhelming process.
I have come to realize that taking do not want wait for best time or best decision to come to you. Just taking action, even wrong ones will set you in your path.
I delight in ‘oopsing’ my way forward, Preeti … knowing that every step forward begins with a ‘miss-take’ that will require refining. No one lerned to walk on the first try. We all zig-zag our way to success. thank you, thank you, thank you.
I think action, self-expression, and revelations go hand in hand.
I like the way you lit up your points with little passionate stick people.
YES, J.D. the stick people are Nick’s passionate addition to the blogs. Nick is my master-mind ally. Thank you, Nick ,,, and blessings J.D.
Hey Rob,
I’m not always passionate about the “I’am” I wake up to. I’m certainly getting better after getting involved in this stuff but I still have days I wake up disgruntled and stay that way all day. I really want to be some one who springs out of bed everyday excited about my day. Does this really exist? I’m not so sure — but that is what I’m trying to become.
P.s. I’m glad to be back from vacation. I feel like I have been missing some good stuff here. First time I’ve ever been glad to be back to my normal routine. that’s a sign of improvement though, right?
Welcome back, Roger. Your daily routine is part of the cosmos. We all want some predictability, don’t we? You’re goodstuff. We have been missing you.
Hi Rob
Be passionate about what you are doing… or don’t bother doing it.
I put passion into everything I do, including my speeches, and audiences pick up on that passion and take away a little bit of it.
We bloggers have to be passionate… takes me a long time to write a decent post with no guarantee of a single comment, but the passion keeps me going and waiting for those hundreds of comments to come flooding in. LOL
Passion and enthusiasm will usually get the job done.
BTW – you may not have been a good trumpet player but were you a good enough trumpet player?
I was not a good enough trumpet player to get a sense of my unlimitedness, Keith. Yes, I was a good enough trumpet player to get by and make a living (but that is not passion being expressed). Indeed, that which we do half-heartedly becomes a part of the world of mediocrity … which is not how we went from living in caves with bats to living in skyscrapers … or from riding on the back of mules to rocketing to the moon. I choose passion, as do you, Keith Thank you for your comment.
I remember when I was passionate about sailing. When I was starting out it was all I could think about. I loved everything about it, even the hard work of painting and sanding etc. That was my sailing heyday. That’s the feeling I look for now in my daily affairs. When all the “hard work” isn’t really hard work at all… that’s when I know I’m engrossed in my passion.
Youare a man ofextraordinary focus, Salty. I know this from past experiences with you. Passion and focus work marvelously together. You’ve seen its results in your life.
Passion? I love it! It’s the only way I know how to be. I can be intense which I used to apologize for but no longer. It’s useless forme to pick up a hobby or a project I feel lukewarm about because if passion doesn’t flow, it’ll show in the product.
I’m passionate about challenging myself and others to have a bigger vision. To have a better understanding of myself in the context of others, keeping in mind that we are each part of a continuum and our actions affect others. I’m passionate about believing that, collectively, we have the power to end every problem, every suffering, every struggle we face surrounding economics, the environment, health issues and basic rights that everyone deserves but too many don’t possess.
I love your specificity around passion, Belinda. Being passionate is not enough- passionate about what? You do a great job of describing ‘the what’ that you are passionate about … all great things that make a difference in life. Thank you Belinda.
