The Esoteric Pondering Series

081110_esoteric_11. Yes, it is possible to be master of the elements.
2. Your words contain electrified substance.
3. Beams of radiant light flow from you outwardly.

Now, what are you to do with this knowledge? If it cannot be put to practical use – then it just ‘ain’t spiritual’. Well, this knowledge is powerful spiritual information, and when used rightly, can make a magnificent difference in your life.

How do you use this knowledge rightly? You must take your aspirations and aims beyond the surface mind. The surface mind tries to intellectualize everything. That is what the world has taught your surface level awareness to do. Yet, the greatest accomplishers in the history of humankind never give rational explanations to the miracles they create. That is because they elevate their consciousness beyond the blind web of appearances. They understand that there is so much more to creation than what can be explained with words.

When you trust that you are capable of interacting with the ‘interactive forces of creation’ – you regenerate your mind with incredible power – power that attracts exactly what you need in order to make your dreams come true. So how do you interact with the ‘interactive forces of creation’? What are these forces? (more about these four forces in a future blog). 081110_esoteric_3

In the beginning there was the WORD (your word). Your word is an electrified substance. It beams outwardly. When you learn to speak your word with the full force of ‘intent’, your infinite supply of unrealized potential (which has served you with half measure) now jumps fully to life (ready to serve you).

By the way, there is a ‘holy spirit’ within you… it is the WHOLENESS that you are now, always have been throughout eternity, and always will be. When you surrender to this WHOLENESS, by taking your word seriously, it triggers momentous creative energy that dwells deep within your ‘quickening’ (your infinitely unique nature).

This is a great beginning that I have shared (above blog). Please just ponder what has been written so far. Do not try hard to understand all of it. Do not try to rationalize it. Do not resist it, and do not blindly accept it. JUST BE WITH IT. Now, please share what is showing up in your thought-stream – make a comment:

a. What question would you like to ask in order to gain clarity?
b. What word would you like defined?
c. What statement would you like explained?

You cannot receive value from anything unless you give value… comment from your heart… let it be spontaneous… what greater value can you offer (in this moment) than ‘you’ commenting from your heart-center (where your WHOLENESS dwells)?

081110_esoteric_2

  1. What does it feel like to dwell in this elevated consciousness… an awareness that takes you beyond your usual day?
  2. What if all of this (written here) is true – what next might you do to absorb it into your consciousness?
  3. Does this consciousness interest you… do you want more conversation on this matter?
  4. What can you offer that adds clarity to what is shared so far, here?

Consider the 180 book as an option to help you further understand what this esoteric pondering is offering ……… blessings, rob

P.S. We have started a new “Best Comments of the Week” feature on our homepage. Our way of saying thank you for all of your contributions that enhance this blog and enrich our readers. Last weeks winners were Sandra Hendriks and Jenny Ann Fraser for articulating their sincere thoughts so effectively.

    Rob,

This a very insightful and profound article. I have been focusing much more of my attention on elevating my consciousness through meditation as well as environmental reinforcement. Essentially I have been building my vision in more detail and grandeur, and it has helped me gain clarity. I am interested in hearing more about the “interactive creative forces.” As well, there are times when I’m in a hostile environment two days a week. As my blog implies, I try to shake off the grind. Though I feel that this environment is counterproductive. Do you have any thoughts on how to battle the intrusive thoughts that come from a toxic environment. Thanks!

    • rob says:

It is difficult to accept, Joe, but the fact is – we really do determine the mental environment in which we live. When I am aware of negative thoughts intruding my psychic space – it is me that has done that to me. I am sending out the wrong psychic energy and tuning into the wrong mental radio station. This is a topic for another blog … but worthy of your attention. If it is to be … it is up to thee! What are you dialing up when you get up in the morning? What are the thoughts that grab your attention first?

  2. Hi Rob.

I can agree with this. When I use the power of my word/words correctly, I am able to get much further. I have to defend my words when I am using them, and use them with intent to work through what they say.

The part about intellectualizing things not always working sure does say a bit about how we need to think of things. If we think in direct terms and use the same boring analysis we have always used, we will continue to not progress. I know of a person who intellectualizes everything, and he doesn’t really get anywhere when he does it. I am not putting it down, but saying that it doesn’t work so well with our minds.

    • rob says:

Please forgive my analogy, Armen, but ‘most intellectualization is merely mental masturbation’ … it is a cheap thrill that amounts to nothing in the end. Folks have to learn to actualize their ‘words’ … put them into action in their daily lives. It they do not convert their words into a constructive force that makes a difference in the world, it is all for naught. Blessings. Thank you.

  4. Hi Rob, I won’t pretend to grasp everything you’re trying to put across here but I’m certainly one of those people who don’t put all my experiential eggs in the metaphorical intellectual basket. There is instinct; there is intuition; and there is chance that often slips under the radar of choice.

As for the spirit within, or soul, it’s there and it stirs and moves, if we let it. And it can lock in a graceful dance with the heart and the mind, if we’re willing.

    • rob says:

That is beautfully spoken, Belinda. Now, may I ask you: “How can I use that conversation in my daily affairs?” IF IT ‘AIN’T PRACTICAL’, IT ‘AIN’T SPIRITUAL’. Spiritual common sense is good pragmatic advice. For example – I mention that words contain ‘electrified substance’. What can you do with that? You can convert your words into a constructive force by ACTING AS THOUGH WHAT YOU’VE SPOKEN IS SO! The simple ‘yes action’ begins stirring the mighty cosmic boomerang. I know of what I speak. One time I excitedly spoke of Steven Covey’s teachings in the morning (and said I intend to meet him some day … I meant it), and I ended up sitting next to him on a flight from San Francisco to Boston that night. There are no accidents.

  5. Rus says:

Whoa… this is pretty heavy. I’m gonna have to read it a couple times to really get it. I don’t think I know how to apply this in my daily life. I do see that when I was serious about starting my business a bunch of things became more clear. Things that I had no knowledge of. I was getting loans and licenses and there were some very kind people that showed me the way. I guess that is my Word becoming real?

    • rob says:

Great examples of the electrified substance (called your word)causing ‘coincidences’ in your life. Rus. As you know, there are no coincidences , there are however … co-incidences = incidences occurring cooperatively(and if we look deep enough we will see the cause. No accidents.

  6. SaltySailorMan says:

    Hi Rob,
I don’t quite understand this ‘quickening’ idea. I know when I’ve made up my mind to do something I do whatever it takes to get it done. It takes persistence and if it is worth doing it takes hard work. Eventually it gets done because I did it. I don’t think I get help from any ‘interactive force’. I think people would like to believe all they have to do is think good thoughts and something will magically happen. In my experience nothing ever worthwhile got done without dogged persistence and hard work.

  7. Carol Anne says:

Ohh I love this conversation, Rob. I have been practicing meditation to get more clarity and become more centered. This has helped my focus throughout the day. I get tired of people who analyze everything and intellectualize everything. When I am clear on my word all kinds of circumstances begin to show up that support me. I have seen a direct correlation between being clear on my word and getting real world results.

  8. rob says:

Nice job, Carol Anne. Thank you. I rememberwhen you would analyzethingstodeath. What grand changes we see when we change ‘me’.

  9. Billy says:

Great post once again Rob, thanks for sharing :D

    • rob says:

Thanks, Billy, perhaps you can share a bit of your’insights’ into the matter? We get to keep the knowledge that we share with others (repetition sinks it deeper into our own consciousness). Thank you for the appreciation. blessings.

  10. Rob,
When I’m in a state of love miracles happen. On another level miracles are “shifts in perception.” The result being inner peace. It doesn’t get much better than that.

The power of words…I want to choose mine wisely! Only then will light radiate out of me.

    Thanks for the reminders!

    • rob says:

You mention, Tess, that when you are in a state of love – miracles happen. Do you know what a miracle is? it is something that happens that is too easy to explain (my opinion). If the miracle brings inner peace, then indeed it is a valuable experience. Thank you

  11. Dia says:

    Hi Rob,

Very nice post my friend. Words have huge power, especially if they are associated with emotions. I used to intellectualize every thing a long time ago, then learned just to focus on what I want and believe that I will get it some how. I don’t have to know how, but it will happen. After I started doing this, things seem to come naturally to me. Thanks for sharing Rob

    • rob says:

YES,Dia, words are powerful when they are embued with emotion. In fact … those are the only powerful words. All else is vain repetition. Thanks you for that.

  12. Kara says:

Yes. Words are so powerful. I think they always shape my life. Like one time I was at a party with a white top and I kept saying to myself, “dont spill, dont spill.” Well guess what happened? Yup. Red wine on my nice white top. That was the first time I really can specifically recall my words shaping my reality. I can see now that I do it much bigger ways, like subtly saying “I’m not smart enough.”

  13. Marion says:

    Hi Rob

I have a question. If I said Lao-tzu and the first verse of the Tao Te Ching “The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao” and the idea of letting go “trying” to understand the mystery of our existence and simply being with it and accepting it as it unfolds – would I have grasped the meaning of your post?

  14. rob says:

Yes, Marion, if you are willing to ‘just be with the conversation’ offered in the blog (with no opinion… pro or con), then you are surrendering to a truth that empowers you. It is something that I have difficutly doing. The ego always wants to get its ‘two cents worth’in. Nice touch.

  15. Roger Pascal says:

    Hey Rob,
This is a tough one for me, sheesh. I think you mean we screw things up when we are not “whole”. Like we sabotage ourselves because we are knotted up inside. I know I make more mistakes when I am approaching something half-assed and not really paying attention to what Im doing of thinking,

  16. J.D. Meier says:

Some words light us up way more than others.

I think of it as “empathy for information.” While we can regurgitate information that we intellectually understand, it’s words that we have empathy for that truly impact us. For example, do you prefer to run a project or lead an epic adventure? If adventure is one of your values, it means something to you, and it gets your juices going.

Some words make us feel. That’s the power of emotional picture words and the right metaphors. Rather than just invoke an intellectual response, they dial up your emotional connection. They “move” you. Words that move us is what inspiration is all about … and it’s the stuff vibes are made from.

    • rob says:

Words well spoken, JD. You gave a nice add-on to the blog to help clear up the message. What we give away we get to keep. What we teach we more thoroughly understand. The gift you’ve given others with your comment today, you’ve given yourself. Nice job. We’re all ONE. blessings.

  17. Don says:

So, this is like spending too much time on the “thinking ladder” and not any time on the “doing ladder” from the book. I used to spend way too much time thinking of the next “great idea”, I could talk a good game but never take action. Now I am weary of people who just want to spout off great ideas. I kind of roll my eyes knowing they wont do anything about it. Im more of a take action guy now

  18. Rob,

This is great! You are making me work hard and look inward and think and ask questions! This type of post and information takes time to absorb and practice in its consciousness. You can “feel” the effect but hard to put in words for me to describe it! Thank you!

  19. rob says:

Whenever we are confronted with new information that can offer exciting newness in our lives, Preeti, it takes time to absorb. Thank you for mentioning that. The ego resists, resists, resists. It does not want transformational newness!
