Is it possible that there is a center of awesome power lying dormant inside of you?
What do you have to do to activate that power so it supports what you are up to?
What are you up to… do you know?
Clearly life is here to help you with your aspirations and aims, but it cannot help you if you think you are just trying to cope with life’s challenge. I remember a time when I felt that way.
When I began seeing myself and my life differently, all kinds of new people and events showed up in my life to support me.
If you want to multiply the loaves and fishes in your life – you have to identify them!
(1) What do you want your life to be about?
(2) Where do you want to go?
(3) Who do you want to be?
(4) What do you want to do?
(5) What do you want to have?
BEING… DOING… HAVING – these are the BIG THREE… take the time to give these some thought. It all begins with ‘BEINGNESS’… get that one settled, and the DOING and HAVING come quite naturally.
Any comments?

Who do I want to be? Damn, that’s a good question. Sometimes I think I have the answer, and then I find I don’t have the answer because I just want to be the genuine ‘me’ but the world enforces other ‘me’s’ on me.
Yup, that narrows it down to what life is about. Being, doing and having. Once you get these area handled, I think you find true meaning in life. The first, being, I find really interesting. I think that it all start from there.
Indeed, Eduard …. when you get ‘who you are BEING’ down …. the DOING takes less time, and the HAVING comes quickly.
Everything starts with beingness, cannot agree more, rob. Awesome post and questions everyone should answer for themselves!
Clearly Lana, you work on your BEINGNESS …. it shows in your attitude toward life!
Hi Rob,
I’ve found that my outside world changed once my inside world changed. I believe what is in our lives is a direct reflection of what is inside of us. Therefore, it is very important to monitor our thoughts and, most importantly, our feelings, because we will get back what we send out.
Like you said, “It all begins with ‘BEINGNESS’.”
Yes Greg …. your inside work projects outwardly as your BEINGNESS … by jove, you got it! You will experience great truths about yourself in this lifetime Greg … keep on going.
Hi Rob,
I know exactly what you mean. Since my perspective of life changed the most amazing people have showed up.
And I know it is an ever-expanding process of shifting and experiencing all the wonderful people and things that life pours forth when we are in the mindset to receive it!
For me, I believe the beingness is the most significant part. The doing is easy when taking inspired action and I try to have most of my actions be inspired.
Well, as I think of it the having part is quite lovely too. It is all very good.
Thank you for the post!
Lauren
I have found, Lauren, thAt when our BEINGESS is authentic, the DOINGNESS requires less time to accomplish, and the HAVINGNESS comes very quickly. On this planet of physicality, playing in DOINGNESS and HAVINGNESS gives testimony to our BEINGNESS.
Hi Rob,
Living in questions expresses a beautiful openness to everything. These question you pose inspire us all to live consciously and not take life for granted.
Thanks for a great post.
Hi Gail, I have found that when we live in questions we are more conscious about our lives, as you have mentioned. Great concept!
Hi Rob, it’s my first visit here. I’m in the category of having more questions than answers and so your post spoke to me.
For me, my BEING has to evolve if I’m truly engaged in life (which then affects the DOING). My DOING is informed by my BEING. If my BEING is strong and unyielding, my DOING can be intuitive, secure, trusting and won’t need to have elaborate plans or even expectations of outcomes. My HAVING, I think about the least perhaps because I know I don’t need much material things and any non-material thing I want to possess (i.e. peace, faith, trust, etc.) is covered by a conscious and honest BEING and DOING.
Thanks for a great post.
I love your thoughtful comment, Belinda. Yes, indeed … BEINGNESS is the abstraction that begins the ball rolling. And the reason that we take physical form on a planet of polarity (where all pairs of opposites exist) is to experience our abstraction. And indeed … DOINGESS flows easily when we get our BEINGNESS right … and HAVINGNESS has to follow (that is the Law of Attraction in action!) Thanks & blessings, rob
Wow – That is pretty deep stuff. I still think I want to BE a Rock Star like the little guy above. I spend all my time DOING my limo business and HAVING a lot of headaches.
This conversation is very reassuring for me. I can see where I am exercising my BEING and DOING. HAVING is just around the corner. How long is that part supposed to take?
Havingness springs forth quickly, ArtistNick, when our beingness is set firmly in place. The Law of Harmonious Attraction does not take long to kick into action.
There is awesome power in everyone. Learning to be that awesome is the simplest and most difficult achievement in life. I’m getting more comfortable with just being and its paying dividends. Anyone who wants to just be, take a walk outside in the sunshine, smell the flowers, look at the sky, clear your mind. Sometimes just being is the best way of al!
Phil
Beingnes is an abstraction, Phil …. thus the awesome power it possesses. The power of doing something new and having something come to you is weak in comparison to an experience of untainted beingness – which is what you experience when you smell a flower. Good job.
I love the concept of BEINGNESS although I am not sure what to do with it.
This is so deep, now you are making me think and ask big questions – which I believe is your hole point, Rob – not losing sight of the big picture. Of course the answer is easy I want to have it all, do everything and be fabulous….
That’s my whole problem, I can’t narrow it down…I will get to work!!
I love your adventurous spirit, Farnoosh. I suspect you can have it all. What happens when we really look into ourselves and dare to I ask: “Who do I want to Be … what do I want to DO …. what do I want to HAVE?” … we find that all that we really want is truly available. We could not desire if we could not have it.
I want a big Harley bike. I will know what to do with it when I get it. I will be a wild biker!
I had a Harley. It was great! I got tatoos to match my new ‘Harley image’; wish I didn’t go quite that far.
You look good with your tatooes Salty …. just the big one on your forehead looks a little strange (ha ha)
I get too hung up on HAVINGNESS, rob. I think I will only be happy if I get what I want to HAVE!
I, too, can get hung up on wanting THINGS and thinking when I get them I will be happy. It never works in the end.
I love my car. I think I am happiest when I am in it driving and singing along with the radio song.
I want to be a chef. I want to (do) cook meals at a popular restaurant. I want to have a condo in the city near the restaurant.
A great use of BEING .. DOING .. HAVING, Lewis. Good thinking!
What do I have to DO to bring out the best in me? I have to stop bringing out the worst in me; stop smoking and stop lying to myself about winning the big lottery.
I am finishing off my cellar, converting it into a sewing room for my wife. I play my favorite Bob Dylan CD to activate my power and get things done when I can feel my energy lying dormant inside of me.
What I have to do to activate my potential this week is to affirm daily that I am the master of my fate (not one but 100 times)
Hi Rob
That’s a great line you’ve used “If you want to multiply the loaves and fishes in your life – you have to identify them!”
Unfortunately I’m with Belinda, I have more questions than answers – not even sure what I want to be.
Good thing about this post… it’s got me thinking!
Who is Belinda, Keith? Is that symbolic for something or is it an actual person? When you are sure you are ‘not sure’ what you want to do … you are on your way to changing things. There can be clarity in uncertainty if we look deeper. blessings!
I get too stuck on HAVING. I sometimes refuse to put in the extra time to make the extra money to buy what I want, but then I pout. I think I am entitled, I guess. As you have pointed out, rob, life does not work that way.
All questions that I’ve been asking myself as of late. My old boss once said, the formula for success is:
1.) Clear Goals,
2.) Hard Work,
3.) Unwavering Focus
I’m trying to apply this to both facets of my life right now (business and pleasure). I’m on my way there…
Hi Ricardo …. clear goals translate to FELT VISIONS (therein lies your power). i prefer to say ‘effective work’ rather than ‘hard work’… when it is a labor of love, the work does not feel ‘hard’. Unwavering focus – right on target, Ricardo. Nice comment!
I like that… “Effective Work” vs. Hard Work. Too often today we focus on doing “busy-work” which is really just a distraction more than anything…
I like your formula, Ricardo. I am going to add it to my mix.
Yes, it is possible that there is an unbelievable center of dynamic energy waiting to espress through me. Thank you.
