beware –– the world-voice

world_voice_chair

There is an enormous field of collective consciousness that speaks to you daily through the World-Voice. It is an assemblage of thousands of years of notions and ideas declared by man as true. This World-Voice offers many opinions that can dishearten you. It will hypnotize you into believing you are a weak and helpless victim of many circumstances. This one erroneous point of view attracts troubling conditions to millions of people daily.

Breaking free of this Psychic Sea of Negative Energy requires looking at things from a detached perspective. It is foolish and naive to assume everything is true that is spoken to you. The World-Voice insists there is lack and you are limited. It offers it’s point of view through news mediums such as radio, television and the internet. It speaks to you from the mouths of family, friends and strangers. You cannot escape hearing what it has to say, but you do not have to agree.

The World-Voice will flood you with information about the inadequacies of being human. It chants ‘woe is me’ at every opportunity. The evening news bombards you with a victim mentality that tells you how tough life can be. It offers a formula of 80% bad news and 20% good news, and that is what most folks learn to expect of their lives.

think the unthinkable

If your life is not showing up as you want it to be, it is time to experiment in your mental laboratory. Begin by assigning inspiring purposes to your daily challenges and problems. When you assign a new purpose to anything, you give it new value. This creates space for you to see it from an entirely new perspective. Renew the contents of your mind by coming up with new reasons for what you do, and you soon find the outer conditions of life begin changing, too. Everything begins looking differently for you.

In moments when things aren’t working out, take the time to give the situation an empowering meaning. Pushing will only beget pushing back. What you resist, shall persist. That kind of mental toughness does you a great disservice.

It requires an open mind to make a 180 — an about-face from a negative attitude to a positive one. It requires setting up a new relationship with the moment. Dare to ask, “How can I use this situation so it prospers me?” Ask, earnestly seeking, and you shall find!

Renewing your mind requires thinking that which you have not thought before. It requires thinking the unthinkable. Dare to think thoughts beyond the familiar, and your mind soars to new heights. A well-groomed mind is forever being weeded of limiting thoughts and reseeded with encouraging ones. These are the seeds from which all growth and development springs forth.

step beyond your comfort zone

comfort_zone_2

1. Be bold; if things are not working out as you want them to.
2. Dare to freshen your mind with new thoughts that illuminate and rejuvenate you.
3. Be willing to step beyond what your current thought-habits allow.
4. Trust that there is more to you than what the world may suggest?
5. Drop all ‘poor me’ tendencies that may be possessing you by replacing them with something new.
6. Take responsibility for all past decisions you’ve made that are obstructing your creative nature.

Nothing prevents you from understanding what there is to know.
It is only erroneous thoughts that have you stumbling.  Shrinking down and denying your unique richness is something only you can do.

create an inspiring bible

bible

There is nothing more rejuvenating than making it your task to gather life-liberating truths that encourage you and strengthen your attitude. Write these truths down in a blank diary book and consider this your Personal Bible. After you write them down, write a brief sentence or two about what they mean to you. It is your sacred text. You are deliberately creating the prominent ideas that you want taking central stage in your mind.

The purpose of your Personal Bible is to offer you a kingly confidence that motivates you to take chances. Your Personal Bible will disintegrate old self-destructive thought-habits. Make it a habit to refer to your Personal Bible daily, and there will be no space in your day to indulge in the false pleasures that worrisome, negative emotions offer you.

Apply the principle of ‘use it or lose it’ to begin thinking fresh and new. The way to lose suppressing thoughts is to repeatedly expose yourself to inspiring thoughts that lift you.

Tips to begin your Personal Bible.

1.    Go out and purchase a worthy blank book.

2.    Learn the art of self-restraint — curb those automatic thought-impulses that reactively express through you.

3.    What quotes move you?

4.    What lyrics inspire you?

5.    What poems do you cherish?

6.    What lines from a movie lift you?

7.    What advice, from a teacher or friend, motivates you?

8.    What paragraphs from texts serve as guiding principles for you?

9.    Whenever you come across a thought that offers you a blast of triumphant faith in yourself – put it in your bible and personalize it by writing what it uniquely means to you.

why feeling good supports success

feeling_good

Nothing sets you up for success more than feeling good about yourself, and nothing sets you up for failure more than feeling bad about yourself.  Feeling good about yourself feeds into a consciousness of prosperity, and a consciousness of prosperity is a magnet that attracts life’s riches.

Feeling bad about yourself feeds into a consciousness of scarcity, and a consciousness of is magnet that attracts a world of limit and lack.

Your self-image either supports you with what you are up to, or it sabotages your best efforts. Looking at yourself and life optimistically is essential if you intend to achieve and succeed.

When you like who you have created yourself to be, you look forward to setting the bar higher and accessing more of your unrealized potential. Your self-image has everything to do with whether you feel like you are a harmonious part of this wonderful world, or a square peg trying to fit into a round hole. The crippling forces of hampering emotions guarantee failure no matter how hard you strive to succeed.

wake up to a new you

awake_2

It seems you take on many roles to get through your day. You represent yourself one way when with the family, quite another way at work, and a third way with your friends at the movies. We barely hold onto one SELF for long that a situation pops up and we find another SELF taking control of our reactions.

“To be or not to be” is a fabulous contemplation. Who is the SELF you awaken to? If you had a choice, what would the qualities and tendencies of that SELF be? What mood and attitude would it offer you? Is it one that is joyously thriving or barely surviving? The version of yourself you awaken to, is entirely up to you.

It takes an awakened mind to dare ask, “Who am I being right now? You are always experiencing who you create yourself to be. No one can do this for you. If it is to be, it is up to thee! All habits can be broken. You can replace them with something new, and that includes any version of you that is not pleasing you. Your immutable right to control your mind guarantees this.

If you do not like the SELF you have been awakening to, perhaps it is time to create a new version of you? Imagine making it a habit to be someone you enjoy being, someone you trust, someone you love representing you in the world?
